Panch Tatva

The two types of classification of matter evolved by modern day scientists based on physical properties and chemical nature.

SI Unit of Mass

Kilogram ($\text{kg}$).

Cubic metre ($\text{m}^3$).

Litre ($\text{L}$)

A common unit of measuring volume where $1\,\text{L} = 1\,\text{dm}^3$, $1\,\text{L} = 1000\,\text{mL}$, and $1\,\text{mL} = 1\,\text{cm}^3$.

Dissolution of Salt in Water

The process illustrating that matter is made of particles, where salt particles get into the spaces between particles of water upon dissolving.

Polynomial Exponent Rule

The requirement that in an algebraic expression that is a polynomial, the exponent of the variable must be a whole number, never a negative integer or fraction.
