connect the end of the condenser to the receiving flask by adapter
ensure cork

heat the sx in distilling flask via alcohol lamp
heat only at 70-80 degrees celcius
wait collection ½ to 1/3 volume of the distillate

4. 5 drops conc sulfuric acid
