Diagnostics
Clinical Diagnosis
MRI/Ultrasound: If chronic or unresponsive to treatment.
Nursing Management
Ice and rest
Stretching and Physical Therapy
Splint or brace if needed
Educate on posture and ergonomics
Pharmacologic Treatment
NSAIDs : Decrease pain and inflammation
Corticosteroids injection: Short-term relief in chronic cases
Topical NSAIDS: Local pain relief without systemic effect.
Surgical Intervention
🔧Tendon Repair / Tenotomy
Indication: Severe or chronic tendinitis with tendon rupture
Purpose: Tendon is repaired or partially released to reduce tension and inflammation
Post-op: Immobilization, progressive physical therapy
