Se accidental

Earlier in the chapter, you learned to use the pronoun se in order to indicate that the subject is either unknown or unimportant. To indicate unintentional or accidental occurrences, you will use a similar construction that also includes the indirect object pronoun. Se + indirect object pronoun + verb. Flashcards are examples of sentences utilizing SE accidental.

I ran out of gas.

Se me acabó la gasolina.

They shut off the computer.

Se les apagó la computadora.

They dropped their books.

Se les cayeron los libros.

My car broke down.

Se me descompuso el coche.

She forgot her pencil.

A ella se le olvidó el lápiz.

We lost our homework.

Se nos perdió la tarea.

I left the money at home.

Se me quedó el dinero en casa.

Did you break the glass?
