Select a visual reference point on the horizon and cross check with Heading Indicator

Reduce power to an approach power setting

Below Vfe gradually extend flaps to full position

Maintain altitude as airspeed decreases

Maintain heading with visual references point

As the airplane reduces to stall airspeed, increase power to maintain altitude

Maintain desired airspeed just above stall by using pitch
9
Trim as required

Maneuver, making turns in opposite directions also with climbs and descents.
RECOVERY

Apply full power and maintain desired altitude and heading

Retract flaps to 20° or T/O
3
Maintain desired altitude and heading, allow airspeed to increase.

Retract flaps to 10° or UP

Maintain desired altitude and heading, allow airspeed to increase.

Once Vx has been established, retract remaining flaps
7
Return to training cruise settings
