Graphics made of mathematical paths that are best for logos, icons, and illustrations because they maintain quality at any size.

The foundation of vector graphics that allows for shape-based editing and resizing without loss of quality.
Common Raster Formats
JPG, PNG, GIF, and BMP.
Common Vector Formats
SVG, AI, EPS, and PDF.
Graphics Hardware
The physical components that help create, process, and display digital graphics.
Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)
A hardware component that processes and renders graphics quickly.
Monitor
A hardware device used to display images and graphics.
Graphics Tablet
A hardware tool that allows artists to draw directly into a computer.
Printer
A device that produces printed copies of digital graphics.
Digital Camera
A device used to capture images for editing.
Geometric Shapes
Types of shapes including circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles.
