The color itself (Color mismo).
Intensity
The combination of different colors.
Value (Color Dimension)
the dimension of color referring to the range from light to dark.
Aesthetic Value
The quality that causes an object to be a work of art and appeals to the sense of beauty.
Intellectual Value
Quality where an artwork stimulates thought and enriches mental life by making one realize fundamental truths about themselves and the world.
Suggestiveness
Quality associated with the emotional power of art, evoking visions beyond ordinary life experience.
Spiritual Value
Quality that elevates the spirit by bringing out moral values.
Permanence
A quality of great art that endures and gives fresh light and new insights with each encounter.
Universality
A quality that is timeless and timely, dealing with fundamental truths and universal conditions anywhere and anytime.
Style
The peculiar way in which an artist sees his subject from his ideas and expresses them.
Form
The organization, arrangement, or framework of an artwork, and the manner of coordinating parts for an effective result.

The UP President who granted the request to separate the places of worship for Catholics and Protestants.
Leandro Locsin
National Artist for Architecture (1990) who designed the UP Chapel with a saucer-shaped roof and 14 entrances.
Napoleon Abueva
National Artist for Sculpture (1976) who created the Giant Wooden Cross and the Sermon on the Mount at the UP Chapel.
Arturo Luz
National Artist for Visual Arts (1997) who designed the River of Life floor mural in the UP Chapel.
Vicente Manansala
National Artist for Painting (1981) who painted the 15 mural-sized Stations of the Cross in oil at the UP Chapel.
Ang Kiukok
National Artist for Visual Arts (2001) who assisted Vicente Manansala in painting the Stations of the Cross.
Jose Maceda
National Artist for Music (1997) whose composition Pagsamba premiered at the UP Chapel in 1968.
Order of National Artist
The highest national recognition for Filipinos in the field of arts and letters, established by Presidential Proclamation No. 1001, s. 1972.
KKK (CCP Motto)
Stands for katotohanan, kabutihan, at kagandahan (the true, the good, and the beautiful).
GAMABA
Short for Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayan, it honors Filipinos at the forefront of preserving traditional folk arts.
Republic Act No. 7355
The legislation through which GAMABA was institutionalized.
GAMABA Cash Award
A minimum cash award of P200,000.00 and a lifetime personal monthly stipend of P50,000.00.
