Osteocytes
a bone cell, formed when an osteoblast becomes embedded in the matrix it has secreted.
Osteoclasts
make and secrete digestive enzymes that break up or dissolve the bone tissue

Spongy bone
is the major structural and supportive connective tissue of the body. Bone tissue forms the rigid part of the bones that make up the skeleton.
Compact Bone
dense bone in which the bony matrix is solidly filled with organic ground substance and inorganic salts, leaving only tiny spaces (lacunae) that contain the osteocytes, or bone cells.
