  • French mathematicien, phyciscist, philosopher

  • Involved the study of gambling predictability

  • BY determining the odds of players winning, he arranged # into a triangular shape. ( Pascal’s triangle)

  • Using the triangle, it was possible to calculate the odds of a player winning at any odds.
