Continuous/interval variables

can only assume any WHOLE value within the limits of the given variables e.g. class attendance, no of establishment in an area, no of children in the family

Discrete Variables

categorical (variables with values that describe a QUALITY or CHARACTERISTICS of a data like what type or which category
