Process Checklists
A series of steps of actions that the business need to follow to complete a task/project/assignment. They describe what needs to be done, who is involved and the time frames, making the processes consistent no matter who completes it. It means that fewer errors will occur.
Quality Standards
Standards for processes and procedures that have been set internationally, nationally or by sector, by experts, regulators or organisations, who have come to an agreement on a range of topics.
Documentaries/documentary standards
Relate to how terms are defined and interpreted. Includes the standard definitions components, measurements and dimensions, and standard sampling and testing methods. There are also standards regarding how documents are formulated.
Audits
Used to inspect or examine a quality system to make sure that the system or process complies with the requirements set out. Can be targeted at one area of the business or the whole organisation. Recommendations can be made as a result and can be followed up to check that any required improvements or amendments have been implemented.
