How was both same in terms of how dirty towns were

-The cities in both cholera epidemic and Black death were extremely dirty. The dirt was the prime cause of both epidemics-dirty water was the cause of cholera and dirty streets attracting rats that were infested with Black Death carrying fleas. However with both disease people didn’t know the cause(Except when John snow found out). This lead people to believe that the causes was miasma or god punishing them. This caused thousands to die and made the epidemics worse

How were both same in terms of after the epidemics

-There was positive outcomes for both epidemics which improved people’s living and working conditions.Following the Black Death surviving peasants would demand higher wages from lords. As their labour was in demand due to many peasants being killed during the Black Death.Especially in farming as many lords wanted their harvest.Similarly following the cholera outbreak the government passed the first public health act 1848 which than was following by an improved and compulsory public health act in 1875. Both acts improved the lucky conditions for the poor. Everyone benefitted in long run as it lead to end of laissez faire attitude and lead the government to take more action which lead later to the NHS
