Aberration
A deviation from what is normal or typical. Synonym: anomaly. Example: The sudden increase in temperature was unusual for winter.
Yield
To surrender to authority or to produce or provide a result. Synonym: surrender or produce. Example: The company's new marketing strategy produced positive sales results.
Frugal
Living simply and avoiding unnecessary spending or waste. Synonym: thrifty. Example: She lived simply and saved money for the future.
Peripheral
On the edge of something; not centrally important. Synonym: outer. Example: The company's outer departments were downsized to cut costs.
Replicable
Capable of being copied or reproduced, especially in a scientific experiment. Synonym: duplicable. Example: The scientist repeated the experiment to see if the results could be reproduced.
Stimulus
A factor or event that causes activity or development. Synonym: trigger. Example: The new policy encouraged people to spend more money.
Monarch
A ruler who is the head of a country, especially a king or queen. Synonym: ruler. Example: The king's coronation ceremony was a grand event.
Wary
Careful, watchful, or suspicious because of possible danger. Synonym: cautious. Example: The hiker was careful around the steep trail.
Cosmic
Relating to the universe or outer space. Synonym: galactic. Example: The stars and galaxies are part of the universe.
Juvenile
Relating to or involving young people. Synonym: youthful. Example: The young offender was sent to a youth detention center.
Tangible
Physical, material, or able to be touched or clearly identified. Synonym: concrete. Example: The artist turned abstract emotions into physical forms.
Stoic
Showing little reaction to pleasure or pain and maintaining self-control. Synonym: unemotional. Example: Despite the hardships, she stayed calm and didn't complain.
Rhetoric
The use of language in an effective and persuasive way, especially to influence others. Synonym: oratory. Example: The politician's persuasive language aimed to influence public opinion.
Fanciful
Overly imaginative and unrealistic. Synonym: imaginative. Example: She often imagined unrealistic adventures in distant lands.
Condescending
Showing that you think you are more knowledgeable or important than others. Synonym: patronizing. Example: His superior attitude irritated his colleagues.
Transient
Temporary or passing; not lasting. Synonym: temporary. Example: The feeling of happiness was brief and quickly faded away.
Circuitous
Taking a longer or less direct route than necessary. Synonym: indirect. Example: The hiker took a winding route to reach the summit.
Inexplicable
Impossible to explain or understand. Synonym: unexplainable. Example: The disappearance of the artifact could not be explained.
Censure
Formal disapproval or strong criticism. Synonym: disapprove. Example: The legislature formally criticized the politician for unethical conduct.
Harbinger
A sign or indication that something is about to happen. Synonym: precursor. Example: The dark clouds were a sign of the approaching storm.
