What effect do manual work (lime, cement) or skin diseases have on friction ridges?

What are Visible Fingerprints?
Fingerprints made by blood, ink, or other medium staining the fingers, easily visible to the unaided eye.
Define Type Lines in fingerprint patterns.
The two innermost ridges which start parallel, diverge, and surround or tend to surround the pattern area.
Define Delta in fingerprint identification.
The point on a ridge at or in front and nearest the center of the divergence of the type lines.
Define Core in fingerprint identification.
The focal point located within the innermost sufficient recurve of the pattern area.
