What is a camera?
a device that captures light and creates images. the lens bends light to create a focused image on the sensor.

What are the differences between aperture and the visual effects this has on an image.
Wider aperture (f/1.8) = shallow depth of field. Used in portraits
Closed aperture (f/16) = a lot is in focus. Used in landscape photography
What is depth of field?
the range of sharpness in a photograph, from the closest to the farthest objects in focus

slow shutter speed (1/8) = motion blur
fast shutter speed (1/1000) = frozen image
Negative and Positives
A positive image is a normal image. A negative image is a total inversion, in which light areas appear dark and vice versa
