A Flashpoint (USCG)
80 degrees F and above. RVP 14 PSI and above. FLAMMABLE.
B Flashpoint (USCG)
80 degrees F and above. RVP between 8.5 PSI and 14 PSI. FLAMMABLE.
C Flashpoint (USCG)
80 degrees F and above. RVP 8.5 PSI and less. FLAMMABLE.
D Flashpoint (USCG)
between 80 degrees F and 150 degrees F. Combustible.
E Flashpoint (USCG)
150 degrees F and above. Combustible.
Lower explosive limit

3 methods fire spreads
Convection (remote area), conduction (touching), radiation (heat waves)
Class A fire
Ordinary common combustibles like paper, wood, plastic, coal, rags, liners. Water to extinguish.
Class B fire
flammable/combustible liquids such as gas, paint, and crude oil. Foam or dry chemical extinguisher to extinguish
Class C fire
LIVE electrical. CO2 to extinguish. Don't forget to ground extinguisher when in use or bad things will happen.
Class D fire
flammable metals such as Mg, Li, or anything that ends in "-ium." Try to fight ts with Dry Powder but you're KP no bueno if this ever happens
Class K fire
Galley and deep fat fryer. Wet Chemical to extinguish.
Class L fire
Lithium. Thermal runaway. You're done sir done if this happens. Try to fight with Dry Powder.
