add 50cm^3 of sulfuric acid

place copper (II) oxide into the 50cm^3 of dilute sulfuric acid

heat the solution whilst stirring, the copper oxide will begin to dissolve, keep adding until it is in excess

use filter paper and funnel to filter off the excess copper oxide, will leave a blue solution of copper sulfate filtrate

heat the filtrate in an evaporatio

leave to cool to slowly produce crystals
making more salts
