Current Density (J)

Resistance (R)
The opposition to current flow in a conductor, given by R=Aρl.
Vector Form of Ohm's Law
The fundamental relationship expressed as E=ρJ and J=σE.
Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (α)
The measure of change in electrical resistance with temperature, defined as α=R1(θ2−θ1)R2−R1.
Heat Energy (H)
The electrical heat energy generated over time t, calculated as H=I2Rt.
Electric Power (P)
The rate of electrical energy transfer in a circuit, given by P=I2R=VI=RV2.
