India-Japan Maritime MOU signed includes ?

Their vertical migration contributes to the biological carbon pump, transferring carbon from surface waters to deeper ocean layers.

is Statutory bodies, established under part III of State Reorganization Act, 1956

five main Zonal Councils: Northern, Central, Eastern, Western, and Southern.

separate regional body called the North-Eastern Council (NEC)

Composition for zonal councils:

  • Union home minister

  • CM of each state + each state nominates 2 ministers

  • upto two members represents each UT


Composition for NEC:

  • Chairman nominated by President (usually Home minister Union)

  • Governor and CM of each states

  • 3 members directly appointed by President

    • Target Segment 1 (TS1): Incentivizing mobile phone manufacturing
