What is a perífrasis?
A combination of two verbs, one in a personal form and the other in a non-personal form (infinitive, gerund, or participle), sometimes linked by a preposition.
What does the 'llevar + gerundio' perífrasis express?
Expresses the duration of an action that began in the past and has not yet ended.
What does the 'empezar a + infinitivo' perífrasis express?
Expresses the beginning of an action.
