पीटर: अरे, आपका घर बड़ा है। और काफ़ी साफ़ है।

अरे, तुम्हारा घर बड़ा है। और काफ़ी साफ़ है।

सराह: शुक्रिया, लेकिन मेरा घर इतना बड़ा नहीं है। यह न तो अधिक बड़ा है और न अधिक छोटा।

Peter: Oh, your house is big. And it’s quite clean.

Sarah: Thanks, but my house is not so big. It’s neither too big nor too small.

पीटर: और आपके घर का बगीचा सुंदर है।

और तुम्हारे घर का बगीचा सुंदर है।

सराह: शुक्रिया, मेरे पति को बागवानी शौक है।

Peter: And your house’s (small) garden is beautiful.

Sarah: Thanks, my husband is fond of gardening.

पीटर: आपके घर का लिविंग रूम काफ़ी हवादार और रोशन है।

तुम्हारे घर का लिविंग रूम काफ़ी हवादार और रोशन है।

सराह: हाँ, हमारे लिविंग रूम में कई बड़ी खिड़कियाँ और दरवाज़े हैं।

Peter: Your house’s living room is quite airy and bright.

Sarah: Yes, in our living room there are several big windows and doors.

पीटर: और लिविंग रूम की इस दीवार पर कई सुंदर तस्वीरें हैं।

सराह: हाँ, ये तस्वीरें वाकई सुंदर हैं।

Peter: And on this wall of the living room, there are several beautiful pictures.

Sarah: Yes, these pictures are really beautiful.

पीटर: आपके लिविंग रूम का फर्नीचर नया है?

तुम्हारे लिविंग रूम का फर्नीचर नया है?

सराह: ये कुर्सियाँ और मेज़ें नयी हैं, लेकिन वह सोफ़ा काफ़ी पुराना है।

Peter: Is your living room’s furniture new?

Sarah: These chairs and tables are new, but that sofa is quite old.

पीटर: वह टीवी नया है?

सराह: वह टीवी थोड़ा पुराना है।

Peter: Is that teevee new?

Sarah: That teevee is a little old.

पीटर: आपका सोने का कमरा (बेडरूम) कहाँ है?

तुम्हारा सोने का कमरा (बेडरूम) कहाँ है?

सराह: मेरा सोने का कमरा (बेडरूम) पहली मंज़िल पर है।

Peter: Where is your bedroom?

Sarah: My bedroom is on the first floor. (2nd floor U.S.)

पीटर: वह कैसा है?

सराह: वह थोड़ा छोटा है, लेकिन काफ़ी आरामदायक है।

Peter: How is that?

Sarah: That is a little small, but it’s quite comfortable.

पीटर: क्या आपकी रसोई ज़मीनी मंज़िल पर है?

सराह: हाँ, यह लिविंग रूम के पास है।

Peter: Is your kitchen on the ground floor?

Sarah: Yes, it is near the living room.

पीटर: क्या ज़मीनी मंज़िल पर कोई बाथरूम है?

सराह: हाँ, रसोई के पास एक बाथरूम है।

Peter: Is there any bathroom on the ground floor?

Sarah: Yes, there’s a bathroom near the kitchen.
