How to hold a tray ?

To serve glasses on a tray, balance it with heavier items in the center, lighter ones outside; carry with the arm closest to the table, using fingertips for control, keeping the arm tucked in and rotating your whole body to move; and serve from the

right sideof the guest, placing glasses by their spot, ideally without touching the rim, moving clockwise around the table, and never putting the tray down to serve.
