Data Collection Procedure
The step-by-step process of gathering information for the study.
Step 1: Permission/Approval
Obtaining ethical clearance (e.g., from ethics review board, SC administration).
Step 2: Participant Recruitment
How participants will be approached and informed.
Step 3: Informed Consent (Data Collection)
Process of explaining the study and obtaining voluntary agreement.
Step 4: Administration of Instrument
How the questionnaire/interview/test will be conducted (e.g., online, in-person, group setting).
Step 5: Data Management
How collected data will be organized and stored securely.
Data Analysis
The methods used to process and interpret the collected data to answer the research questions.
Descriptive Statistics
Statistical methods (e.g., frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation) used to summarize data.
Inferential Statistics (Quantitative)
Statistical methods (e.g., t-test, ANOVA, correlation, regression) used to make inferences about the population or test hypotheses.
Quantitative Software
Tools used for numeric data analysis, such as SPSS, R, and Excel.
Thematic Analysis
Identifying recurring themes or patterns within qualitative data.
