Stable (안정적이다)
Maintaining a constant state without changing or shaking; often used to describe jobs with guaranteed retirement ages.
Flexible working hours (유연근무제)
A system that allows employees to adjust their commute times or work hours according to their personal circumstances.
School meal (급식)
A meal provided by the school to students and faculty, which in Korea is largely provided for free in elementary, middle, and high schools.
6-3-3-4 school system (6-3-3-4 학제)
The educational structure in South Korea consisting of 6 years of elementary school, 3 years of middle school, 3 years of high school, and 4 years of university.
To get into a habit (습관을 들이다)
The process of making a specific behavior or action frequent and regular in one's daily life.
Cognitive ability (인지 능력)
Mental capabilities such as calculation, vocabulary, reasoning, and response speed; research shows these vary with age, with calculation peaking around age 25.
Lyrical (서정적이다)
Expressing feelings or emotions in a poetic and beautiful way, frequently used to describe song lyrics.
Representative work (대표작)
The most famous or best piece created by an artist that serves as a primary example of their style and skill.
Sense of isolation (소외감)
The feeling of being excluded or alienated from a group or social situation.
Middle class (중산층)
A social group consisting of people who possess an average level of wealth and income, typically falling between the wealthy and the poor classes.
Work efficiency (업무 효율)
The ability to produce desired results or output with minimum wasted effort or time.
Compulsory education (의무 교육)
A period of education required by law, which in South Korea includes elementary and middle school courses.
Aptitude (적성)
A natural ability or suitableness for a specific type of work or activity based on one's personality and skills.
Inflammation (염증)
A physical condition in which a part of the body becomes swollen and painful, often as a result of infection.
Jongmyo Jeryeak (종묘 제례악)
Grand and solemn Royal Ancestral Ritual Music from the Joseon Dynasty, performed during sacrifices at the Jongmyo shrine.
