Disable Internet connections, use firewalls, practice network segmentation, etc.
Proprietary System
System that is owned by its developer or vendor.
What is the main possible caveat to using a proprietary system?
Lack of vendor support, inhibiting remediation.
How would an organization usually go about getting support for a proprietary system?
By paying the vendor again to come and support it.
What is an example of a proprietary system?
U.S. military vehicles and weaponry.
