C3PO - Context, 3 Points, Outcome
Context – what was happening at the time.
3 points of wider knowledge.
Outcome/impact – what did the event lead to/cause.
Q2) How Far Question (Germany)
JuST - Judgement, Show, Turning Point
Judgement – make a judgement on how much change and support with knowledge.
Show what it was like at the first date, show how it changed by the second date.
Turning point – identify the main turning point (event which caused the most change).
Q3) Arrange Factors in Terms of Significance (Germany)
MSL - Most, Second, Least
Most significant – give a reason why, 2/3 points of knowledge, compare why more significant than other two factors.
Second most significant – give a reason why, 2/3 points of knowledge, compare why more significant than third choice/less significant than first choice.
Least significant – give a reason why, 2/3 points of knowledge, compare why less significant than other two factors.
4) Explain Why/How (Germany)
C3C - Context, 3 Points, Conclusion
Context – place the factor into context.
3 points – develop why/how something developed over time, link back to the question.
Conclusion – summarise the overall points you’ve made.
Q5) How Important (Germany)
JIWAC - Judge, Is, Was, Alt, Conc
Judgement – state why the factor was important and support it with some knowledge.
2/3 of your answer should develop why the factor in the question IS important – develop at least 2/3 reasons why it WAS important, link back to the question.
1/3 of your answer should consider other factors – at least 2 other factors, include knowledge and explain importance.
Conclusion – summarise why the factor in the question is the most important factor.
