There are two types of outlines
Working and speaking
Big differences between working and speaking
Working is on paper to organize. Speaking is more condensed version of it used during speech. It is a visual representation of my speech
Working outline should include
specific speech purpose, thesis statement, main points, refine ideas/ research(three main points).
Working outline is done in
Sentences. A single sentence for each main point and subpoint. Not two sentences or a paragraph

Two, sentence outline, phrase outline
Sentence outline
full sentence for main points and subpoints. Used by inexperienced speakers, when material is highly technical, worst for eye contact
Phrase outline
express main points and subpoints in a phrase as a reminder. Key words is a single word or brief phrase, the preferred speaking outline, best for eye contact and movement.
Citation
complete citation. Write it out fully, vocally tell the audience then paraphrase what they said.

Introduction and conclusion.
Format of everything
Roman numeral one-main point. For every main there needs to be two subpoints(A and B, uppercase), for sub sub point then 1. If you need additional do lowercase letters. Works cited is in reverse indent.
