What is the difference between spatial and temporal variability? Be able to provide examples. 

Spatial Variability -> Quantitative or qualitative

differences when comparing two or more locations. → soil texture, pH, topography. 
 
Temporal Variability -> Differences caused by changes over time.  

Temporal → rainfall changes over growing season, temperature swings
