Process of interpreting and understanding a message sent by someone else.
Language
Word choice and sentence structure in communicating with others.
Tone
Refers to the mood, emotions, or attitude that one conveys as they write or deliver their message.
Communication
Exchange of information or messages between a sender and a receiver.
Writing (Tone Expression)
Expressed through how one selects and puts the words together, uses punctuations marks, and their choices of perspectives or point of view.
Speaking (Tone Expression)
Expressed through the use of voice inflections, volume, pacing, body language, and facial expressions.
