Integumentary
Protection against infectious agents, regulates body temperature, synthesis of Vitamin D (Skin, hair, nails, sweat glands, and oil glands)

It protects softer tissues and attaches muscles, supports and protects the body, assists with body movements, provides specific area from muscle attachment, stores cells that produce blood cells, (CONSISTS OF BONES, LIGAMENTS, and CARTILAGES THAT BIND BONES TOGETHER)
Muscular
Support and move body parts, maintain posture, main source of body heat, muscle are organs, specifically refers to the skeletal muscle tissue, which is attached to the bones in the body (cardiac, smooth, skeletal)
Nervous
Stimulus and response, regulates body activities through nerve impulses by detecting changes in the environment, interpreting the changes, and responding to the changes by bringing about muscular contractions or glandular secretions (BRAIN, SPINAL CORD, NERVES, EYES, EARS), neurons (“do-ers” and neurological
Endocrine
Glands (not sweat) and hormones (chemical messengers), produce hormones within the body, causing different phases, reactions, and maturity for their target cells. The hormones travel away from the glands through fluids such as blood and tissue.
Cardiovascular
Contributes to homeostasis by transporting and distributing blood throughout the body to deliver oxygen, nutrients, and hormones, and to remove waste, muscular blood pump, has capillaries (very tiny tubes that are sites of nutrient, electrolyte, gas, and waste exchange), the heart has a pericardium that encloses the heart and the proximal ends of the large blood vessels to which it attaches (BLOOD, HEART, BLOOD VESSELS)
Lymphatic
A network of vessels that transport fluids, maintains homeostasis and combats germs internally and externally, transports proteins and fluids to the blood, lacteals in the small intestine absorb digested fats, (SPLEEN, LYMPH NODES, TONSILS)
Respiratory
Exchange gases between the blood and the air (moves air in and out); fresh air comes in, and bad air comes out, regulates body fluid acidity (body pH), oxygen passes from the air within the lungs into the blood, carbon dioxide leaves the blood and then moves into the air (LUNGS, THROAT, LARYNX, BRONCHIAL TUBES, WINDPIPE)
Digestive
Receives food from the outside, breaks them down into simple forms to be passed on, the mechanical and chemical breakdown of foods and the absorption results in nutrients by cells, includes the alimentary canal which extends 8 meters from the mouth to the anus (MOUTH, INTESTINES, ESOPHAGUS, STOMACH, etc)
Urinary
Kidney remove wastes from blood, helps maintain electrolytes, produces urine, stores urine, and transports urine outside of the body as waste (URETERS, KIDNEYS, BLADDER)
Reproductive
Process of producing offspring, development of embryos, and fetuses. Also provides a passageway for the fetus to go through during birth.
