NDMA's 4-Level Pyramid Model
A framework ensuring support is tailored based on individual needs, ranging from basic services and community support to specialized psychiatric care.
Level 4 (Top) of MHPSS Pyramid
Specialized Services providing psychiatric care for severe mental disorders.
Level 3 of MHPSS Pyramid
Focused Non-Specialized Support including counselling and psychological first aid by trained workers.
Level 2 of MHPSS Pyramid
Community & Family Support focused on strengthening social networks and peer support systems.
Level 1 (Base) of MHPSS Pyramid
Basic Services & Security providing food, shelter, water, and physical safety for all affected.
