Human movement, information movement, and idea movement/beliefs, trends
Human movement
Examples: trains, planes, cars, walking (how people get to their destinations)
Information movement
Examples: word of mouth, letters, texting, email, phone, computer (how information gets traveled around)
Idea movement/ beliefs, trends
Examples: cultural diffusion, magazines, tv, and social media (how trends and beliefs get spread)

Formal region
Region that is defined by administrative or government (ex: countries, city, china town)
Functional region
Region that is defined by a function (ex: zip codes, cellphone coverage)

How humans interact with their environment
What are the 3 types of human environment interaction?
Depend on it, adapt to it, modify it

Examples: use wood for homes (using their surroundings to meet their needs)
