What is the Lassos Mission?
Texas Lassos aims to promote spirit, service, and social activities, supporting friendship, leadership, and cooperation.
What do impeachment decisions involve?
Anonymous submissions, executive review, and potential member voting.
President Responsibilities
Leads meetings, supervises officers, sets membership numbers, updates the Constitution, oversees Banquet, Alumni, and Parents' Weekend, manages Ranger election, ensures university compliance, and enforces the Accessibility Plan.
Vice President Responsibilities
Acts as President when needed, tracks member activity, manages statuses, leads retention and alumni relations, co-hosts Banquet and Alumni events, and oversees scholarships.
Secretary Responsibilities
Records minutes, tracks credits and attendance, sends weekly updates, manages calendar and social media, documents Rodeo votes and Lasso pictures.
Treasurer Responsibilities
Manages finances, collects dues, sets budgets, presents reports, and oversees scholarships.
Marketing Chairs Responsibilities
Handle social media, recruitment materials, event promotions, and Lasso merchandise.
Sergeant at Arms Responsibilities
Enforces conduct and policies, tracks strikes and probation, leads diversity initiatives, administers voting, and ensures safety compliance.
Recruitment Education Coordinators (REC) Responsibilities
Train new members, manage recruitment and Rodeo, organize Lass bonding, big/little events, and initiation.
Philanthropy Chairs Responsibilities
Coordinate DSACT volunteering, fundraisers, Buddy Walk, and awareness campaigns.

Leads Longhorns Against Drunk Driving, organizes training, oversees Legal Lassos, and enforces policies.

No discrimination based on identity; must maintain GPA and fulfill attendance at recruitment and mandatory events.
Membership Dues Requirements
Dues cover Lassos functions and must be paid on time.($450 Lass Semester, $350 LassO Semester)
How does Membership Review and Removal work?
Members failing to meet requirements are reviewed by the Executive Board and may face probation or removal.
What is the Lassos Hazing Policy?
Hazing in any form is prohibited, aligning with Texas and UT Austin policies.
What is the Lassos Bullying Policy?
There is zero tolerance for bullying in Texas Lassos. Alongside bullying, here is a non-exhaustive list of other zero tolerance behaviors:

What warrants a strike?
Public vomiting, Inability to walk, Public removal of clothing, Zero-tolerance: Bullying, Racism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Xenophobia
