Nominative singular (masculine)

Noun ending: Ø; Adjective ending: -ый / -ий; Example: Большой дом (big house), Добрый человек (kind person). Exception: adjectives after velars (г, к, х) and sibilants (ж, ш, щ, ч) take -ой.
