Rectangle
A parallelogram in which opposite sides are equal and parallel, and all angles are equal, each measuring 90∘ (for example, m∠M=90∘, m∠N=90∘, m∠O=90∘, and m∠P=90∘).
Rhombus
A parallelogram in which all sides are equal and congruent (EF=FG=GH=EH), and opposite sides are parallel.
Domain
The set of all possible input values of a function, which can be expressed in different representations.
Range
The set of all possible output values of a function, which can be expressed in different representations.
Slope
The rate of change of a linear function represented in graphs, equations, and tables of values.
Zero of a Linear Function
The value for which a linear function equals zero, determined from graphs, equations, or tables of values.
Parallelogram
A quadrilateral whose properties are used to find measures of angles, sides, perpendicular height, and diagonals.
Transversal
A line that intersects two or more parallel lines, creating angle pairs with determinable angle measures.
Quadrilaterals
Four-sided geometric figures classified based on formal definitions.
Parallel Lines
Lines in a plane that do not intersect, governed by specific conditions that guarantee parallelism when cut by a transversal.
Perpendicular Lines
Lines that intersect to form right angles, governed by specific conditions that guarantee perpendicularity.
Function
A specific relation identified based on formal definitions of relations and functions.
