When were the SDG’s developed?
2015
What are the SDGs?
The SDGs are a ‘plan of action’ for the world to address its largest health issues
Made up of 17 global goals established by the UN to improve health, equity and sustainability by 2030
Recognising that health is shaped by social, economic and environmental conditions
The goals are interconnected and aim to improve people, planet and prosperity
What are the four focus SDG’s?
3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
10. Reduce inequality within and among countries
11. Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
