What does Chronological mean?
A record of events starting with the earliest and following the order in which they occurred.
What is an interval?
A period of time between events.
What is Geography?
The study of physical features on the earth's surface.
What is an Artifact?
Anything made, used, or modified by humans and gives us information about life from the past.
What is a Primary source?
A document or other object that was created by someone who witnessed or lived through a historical event.
What is a Secondary source?
Documents or other objects created after an event by someone who did not see or live during the time it occurred.
What is a Hemisphere?
Half of a sphere, specifically one of the halves to which the earth is divided.
What is the Prime meridian?
The earliest zero line of longitude.
What is the Equator?
The Earth's zero line of latitude.
What is Culture?
The way of life for a group of people, including belief systems, common language, and shared ways of doing things.
What is Cultural diffusion?
The spread of ethnic ideas and customs to other areas of the world.
What is Civilization?
A human society with an advanced level of development in social and political organization, and is advanced in the arts and sciences.
