Imagine you are shaking hands with a skeleton. Turn your forearm inward and outward and analyze the relationship of the movement at the radius and ulna.
When the forearm is turning inward, this is called pronation. Pronation is when the radius crosses over the ulna.
When the forearm is turning outward, this is called supination. Supination is when the radius and ulna are parallel to each other
