When a resultant force acts on an object for a certain amount of time it causes..
A change in momentum
A resultant force on an object causes it to accelerate
Acceleration is just change in velocity over time → force= mass×change in velocity/time → which is equal to change in momentum→ so you end up with equation F=(mv-mu)/t
Change in momentum formula
Force (N) = change in momentum (kg m/s) / time (s)
The faster a given change in momentum happens
The bigger the force causing the change must be
Conservation of Momentum shows Newton's Third Law
