SAQ 1: Historical Argument
This is when there are two authors arguing different things. To answer the question effectively…
A.) State the authors topic of disagreement: Identify author 1, state their opinion, and paraphrase what they are saying. Then state the second authors topic of disagreement: Identify author 1, state their opinion, and paraphrase what they are saying.
B.) Then you are going to identify author #1 and relate to their opinion based on the question and provide a BOLD KEY TERM. Define that term so it supports their opinion ad use a historical thinking skill.
C.) Repeat the same thing with the second author

B.) This part will typically ask you for evidence to support your reason for the POV or Purpose of the source. PAY ATTENTION TO THE YEARS. You will be given two options:
Describe: be able to describe the historical context of the time with some supporting detail
Explain: A key term that can be older and connect o the importance
C.) Could ask for almost anything related to the topic of the source.
SAQ 3: Not-Stimulus Based
The most important thing you can do for this is to read the topic, time period, and evidence DIRECTLY crafted.
If you are asked about comparing two time periods, include both times in each answer.
If you are asked about cause and effect, be sure to identify the cause and its effect in each answer.
If you are dealing with CCOT be sure to explain your terms WITH a connection between the lettered task.
