• Watch for OH, dry hacking cough, hyperkalemia

adrenergics for bronchodilation

• Use: COPD, BA

• Watch for increased HR from palpitations, tremors, dry mouth, GI disturbances

-ipine like nicardipine, nifedipine

Calcium channel blockers

• Use: for CAD, HTN, Arrhythm, to lower HR, BP

• Use RPE

• Watch for OH, venous pooling

• Watch for muscle pain, confusion

Local anesthetic

Low molecular weight heparins (Warfarin) for anticoagulation

• Watch for easy bruising, bleeding into joint cavity (hemarthrosis)

Corticosteroids: Inhibit inflammatory process

• Long use causes issues with the bones

• Risk for osteoporosis, cataracts, adrenal insufficiency (Addison's disease) which dec cortisol and aldosterone
