Law of Inertia
An object will remain in its state of motion unless acted upon by a net external force.
Law of Acceleration
An object's acceleration is directly proportional to and has the same direction as the net force acting on it.
Law of Interaction
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Gravitational Force
The force that accelerates everything toward Earth, dependent on the masses of two objects and the distance between them.
Gravitational acceleration
The rate at which objects accelerate toward the ground due to gravity, constant at approximately -9.8 m/s².
Universal Law of Gravitation
The gravitational force between two objects is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.
Newton's Third Law of Motion
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Acceleration due to gravity
The acceleration experienced by an object due to the gravitational force, typically -9.8 m/s² near the Earth's surface.
Force of gravity
The attractive force between two masses, influenced by their respective masses and the distance between them.
