Pledging rules

Rule 1

All pledges will become familiar with all pledge rules by Friday, October 10th.

Rule 2

All pledges are expected to maintain a good appearance and professional attitude at all times.

Rule 3

Pledge books shall be made like the traditional pledge books. Every day, pledges must obtain and place in their pledge books the signatures of no less than 10 Brothers, including their Big Brother. Before receiving the sign of Pledge Master, and Assistant Pledge Master.

Rule 4

Over the course of pledging, pledges must obtain and place in their pledge books the resumes of no less than 16 Brothers. This must include your Big Brother, Pledge Master, and Assistant Pledge Master.

Rule 5

In the SUB, during classes, and at any other meeting places on campus, pledges are expected to join a brother unless the brother is otherwise occupied.

Rule 6

In memory of our fallen knights, pledges will ensure that Kohler's plaque shines with glory and honor, as will they for eternity.

Rule 6a

In memory of our fallen knights, pledges must obtain and place in their pledge books, the ‘signature' of Alexei Richard before the second weekend of pledging.

Rule 7

Pledge books are to be with you at ALL times; they must NEVER be lost or stolen!

Rule 8

Pledges must write a Fraternity song utilizing a familiar tune that is easily sung loud when drunk, like at happy hour, parties or other raging occasions.

Rule 9

Pledges must organize and throw a Kick-Ass Super Fucking Epic Totally Tubular Off The Walls, Project X, Bodacious, Swagtastic party for the generations, to which the brothers and the bitches will enjoy.

Rule 10

All problems with pledging, school, or otherwise, shall be discussed with your Big Brother; that's what he's there for.

Rule 11

Pledges will obey and respect Brothers at all times.

Rule 12

Pledges will refer to brothers as Brother and their name. For example: Brother

Rule 13

Black marks will be given for infractions of pledge rules.

Rule 14

White marks will be given for honor.

Rule 15

Pledges must attend all classes during pledging.

Rule 16

Pledges will reflect glory and honor upon the Fraternity at all times.

Rule 17

Pledges will construct a Fraternity banner of their own design before the end of pledging.

Rule 18

Pledges must not in any way discuss pledging, or show a pledge book to anyone other than a Brother of the Pi Alpha Nu Fraternity, Dr. Philip Stein, or a fellow pledge.

Rule 19

Pledges must learn the Greek Alphabet by Saturday. October 18th.

Rule 20

All pledges must spend at least 10 hours each week at the library so as to guarantee their scholastic success. In addition, pledges may substitute 4 library hours with Gym hours, to ensure pledges will maintain elite shape.

Rule 21

All pledges must construct a paddle for their Big Brother, and must construct a paddle for the Pledge Master, and Assistant Pledge Master, as a whole.

Rule 22

Any pledge who gets a Brother Drunk will be given a Kohler Mark. Any pledge to successfully complete Club 15, will be given the Illustrious Kohler Mark.

Rule 23

Any pledge who gets a Brother high will be given an Amoone mark.

Rule 24

Throughout pledging, pledges must construct a Fraternity Beer Pong Table. The table must include the Fraternity Letters, Fraternity Crest, name of the pledge class, and the names of the pledges.

Rule 25

At all times, pledges must have a pack of Hi-Chews and a can of Arizona Iced Tea.

Rule 26

Any rule can be added or changed by the Fraternity at any time.

Rule 27

Pledges must collect every "Brothermon Card" by the last week of pledging.

Rule 28

Pledges must obtain all fraternal artifacts throughout the course of pledging
