Title Page

Hyperlink
A digital link that takes you to another location, such as a website.
Icon
A picture on a digital device that opens an application, file, or website.
Glossary
A list of terms and their definitions typically found at the end of a book.
Heading
A title or subtitle for a section of text that indicates its subject.
Caption
Information under a photograph that explains or provides additional context.
Diagram
A visual representation that shows the parts or functions of something.
Text Box
A rectangular area on a page that contains text.
Cutaway
A diagram that shows the parts or layers of an object from a different perspective.
Bullets
Symbols used to create lists.
Keyword
Important words in a text that often stand out due to formatting.
Age
How old a living thing is, usually measured in days, weeks, months, or years.
Guide Words
Words at the top of a dictionary page that indicate which words appear on that page.

Relating to water; organisms living in water.
Mammal
A warm-blooded vertebrate animal characterized by the presence of mammary glands.
Cold-blooded
Animals whose body temperature fluctuates with external temperatures.
Amphibian
A cold-blooded vertebrate that can live both on land and in water.
Gills
Respiratory organs used by fish and some amphibians to extract oxygen from water.
