The boy who became a muni bird

A young boy and his older sister went out fishing. His sistercatches many crayfish but when her brother asks her toshare some with him she refuses. After the boy had askedmany times and his sister continued to refuse, the boyturned into a muni bird (fruit dove) and flew away. The boy(who is now a bird) cried in a distant melody expressing a sense of abandonment.
