Plumbing Layout
A plan that shows the location and arrangement of plumbing fixtures and pipes, including drainage, waste, and water supply systems.
Drainage System
A component of the plumbing layout responsible for carrying wastewater away from sinks and baths.
Waste System
A component of the plumbing layout that carries solid and liquid waste from toilets and fixtures.
Water Supply System
A component of the plumbing layout that delivers hot and cold water to fixtures.
Isometric Plumbing Diagram
A three-dimensional diagram that shows the piping system drawn in 3D angles, including labels, flow direction, and pipe connections.
Plumbing System Diagram
A 3D visualization that shows connections of water supply, drainage, and waste lines, helping visualize how pipes run through walls, floors, and ceilings.
90∘ Elbows
Common plumbing fittings used to change the direction of pipes at a right angle.
Straight Tee
A T-shaped plumbing fitting used to connect three pipes together.
Reducing Tee
A plumbing fitting where the size of the branch port is different from the size of the run ports.
Sanitary Tee
A specialized plumbing fitting used in drainage systems to allow for the smooth flow of waste and proper venting.
P-Trap
A plumbing fitting used under sinks and other fixtures to trap water and prevent sewer gases from entering the room.
Gate Valve
A type of valve used to control the flow of water in a plumbing system.
Lavatory
A term used to refer to sinks in the context of plumbing parts and symbols.
Isolation Valve
A valve, such as a 15mm quarter-turn shutoff, used to isolate a specific fixture's water supply for maintenance.
Flush Cistern
The component of a toilet system that stores the water used for flushing.
Shower Mixer
A control valve that blends hot and cold water to provide the desired temperature for a shower.
Main Shutoff Valve
The primary valve used to control or halt the flow of water from the main supply line to the entire plumbing system.
Branch Pipe
Smaller pipes, such as 15mm copper pipes, that lead from the main supply lines to individual fixtures.
Main Supply Lines
The primary pipes, such as 22mm copper pipes, that deliver water throughout the building setup.
