What is orthopedics?

Branch of medicine concerned with prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.

What is spondylosis?

Disease or condition of the vertebral column

What is Scoliosis?

An abnormal lateral curvature of the spine

What is Lordosis?

Backward curvature of the vertebral column

What is Kyphosis?

Outward curvature of the thoracic region of the spine resulting in rounded upper back

What is Osteomalacia?

Abnormal softening of the bone

What is Osteoporosis?

Common metabolic disorder in the elderly characterized by decreased bone density

What is Osteitis?

Inflammation of the bone

What is Ankylosis?

Stiffening and immobility of a joint as a result of disease or trauma

What is a sprain?

Tearing of ligament tissue

What is a strain?

Muscular injury due to exerting extra physical force

What is Arthritis?

Inflammation of the joints

What is Rhinorrhea?

Discharge from the nose
