Random Variation
The natural fluctuations that occur in data due to chance or random processes.
Systematic Variation
Consistent, predictable changes in data that occur under specific conditions.
Hypothesis
An assumption that is neither confirmed nor disproved and made at the beginning of the research process.
Null Hypothesis (H0)
The hypothesis that assumes no difference between two or more groups with respect to a characteristic.
P-value
The probability of chance occurrence in the case that the null hypothesis is true.
