Freedom of Petition

People have the right to express their views to the government. They can write petitions (written requests that people sign asking for something) or call their representatives.

A formal meeting. (Example, the constitutional Convention was a meeting to create the constitution).

Freedom of speech

People are free to express their opinions and beliefs without the government stopping them.
