Pneumothorax

Condition where the pleural cavity becomes filled with air, causing a lung to collapse.

Hemothorax

Condition involving tearing or puncturing of the lungs or pleural tissue, leading to bleeding.

Appendicitis

Inflammation of the vermiform appendix often requiring surgical intervention.

Testicular torsion

Condition resulting from twisting of the spermatic cord in the scrotum, requiring immediate care.

Hernia

Protrusion of abdominal viscera through a portion of the abdominal wall.
